Question:
How do I complete a lesson and have it show up as 100%? How do I finish a module? My video will not check or tick off after watching it all the way through. How do I get my certificate?
Answer:
All of our larger programs have progress tracking which allows you to keep track of your progression through the course material. There are three main tiers to keep an eye on: Lessons, Modules (or Sections), and Programs.
Completing a Lesson
1. Chrome is the best browser to work with our progress tracking. It just appears to be more compatible than Safari or Explorer.
2. Watch all the videos for that lesson all the way through. It's common to end it early or restart the page or move to another page before it is checked off. The video will immediately check off once you've watched it to the very end. If it fails to check off after the initial watch, you can fast forward to the last few minutes and it usually works.
Make sure that you only have one lesson open at a time. If you have multiple tabs, browsers, or windows open with lessons the video may not check off or disappear altogether.
4. The video completion box will automatically get checked off.
5. Manually check off the other boxes for MP3 and/or PDF downloads.
6. If the video does not check off initially, you can refresh the tab and fast-forward to the last few minutes of the video in order to re-engage the progress tracking.
When all of the boxes are checked off, your lesson will show up as 100% complete.
Completing a Module
Each module has a progress meter that grows as you complete more lessons in that module (or section).
Once you've complete all the lesson in a module, the progress meter will be at 100% and in some cases a check mark will be added to the right of the module in the menu bar.
Completing a Program
When you've finished watching all of the videos through the lessons and modules of the course in their entirety (including the bonus modules that have tick boxes), checked off the MP3 download box, and have downloaded the corresponding notes, you will then receive your Certificate of Completion. You will receive it automatically within the student portal. All that's left is to celebrate! :)
