Why is my registration is not going through?

Situation:

The registration for your program is not going through. This is sometimes accompanied by a red error message at the top of that page displaying information about your attempt like the example below.  

Cause & Resolution:

1. The system is unable to process your payment.

This could be due to a variety of reasons from insufficient funds, incorrect information entered, to fraud alerts. More often than not the issue is with the cardholder's financial institution.

Please contact your bank to make sure they are not holding on to the funds and that all your billing information is correct. This can be common for students outside of the US attempting to make an international charge to their card.

2. There could be an error due to a technical problem on our side.

If you have tried to register multiple times, but the transaction is not going through and you've already contacted your bank, there may be a technical issue we need to manually resolve. Please do not continue trying to register as this can result in multiple charges being applied to your account.
